The Confident Mom Community

Stop googling at midnight.

For working moms who lead all day — and want that same clarity at home.

Start thinking like the capable decision-maker you already are.
For working moms who make confident calls all day at work—
but want the same clarity and calm for their child's health.

Join other working moms learning how to think through symptoms with confidence—on their schedule, not someone else’s.

You're not missing information.

You’re missing a framework.Here’s a familiar moment.You’re at work.
Your phone rings.
Daycare. Fever.
You don’t panic — but you pause.
Because you’re sorting opinions...not facts.
Some dramatic. Some conflicting. Most unhelpful.
Your pediatrician’s office is booked.
The internet says everything and nothing at the same time.
And the advice to “trust your gut” doesn’t help when your gut just wants context.
So you make a decision.
You adjust your day.
You get your child seen.
And you’re told it’s a virus. Supportive care.You didn’t do anything wrong.
And you’re not behind.
The system just...doesn’t teach parents how to think through these moments with confidence. That’s the gap the Confident Mom Community is built to fill — teaching you how to think through pediatric health questions with calm and confidence that actually sticks.

What if you knew how to think
through symptoms?

Not by memorizing medical facts.
Not by guessing.
And definitely not by relying on opinions from strangers online.
Here's what actually calms moms down:Not "This is normal."But "Here's what matters most - and here's what would change my concern."Inside the Confident Mom Community, I teach parents the same decision-making frameworks pediatric providers use every day— translated into plain language, for real life. This is education designed to help you:

  • Observe symptoms clearly without spiraling

  • Know what matters most(and what's just noise)

  • Recognize what would change the plan

  • Stay calm when something new comes up

  • Know when to watch, when to call, and when to seek care

These frameworks aren't one-time tips.
They're patterns you use repeatedly — so confidence builds with experience.
You’re learning alongside other parents who value clarity, context, and thoughtful discussion — not panic or guesswork.

What's inside

01

Monthly Expert Q&AsYou learn how I think—not just what to think. The frameworks stick because you see them applied to real situations.

02

Clear Reference GuidesNot stuff you scroll through once. Tools you actually return to when clarity matters.

03

Symptom School™Mini modules that strengthen your internal decision framework. Pattern recognition—not memorization.

04

A Calm Learning CommunityNot chaos. Not panic. A space where confidence builds over time.

HOW THIS ACTUALLY WORKSYou're Learning a Pattern, Not Memorizing FactsWhen a mom asks about fever... I don't just say "watch hydration."
I explain why hydration tells us more than the fever number.
I teach what would change my concern.
Next time her kid has a fever?
She remembers the pattern.
That's confidence that compounds.
Every answer I give follows the same structure:1. What this likely is - context without diagnosing
2. What matters most right now - where to focus
3. What's normal to watch - expected patterns
4. What would escalate care - red flags
5. Permission - to wait, or to go in
You're not learning symptoms.
You're learning how to prioritize like a provider.

Common questions

Is this medical advice?
No.
The Confident Mom Community provides general pediatric education, not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. I teach you how to think through symptoms and understand what’s going on — not what to do for your specific child. For medical concerns, always consult your child’s healthcare provider. Call 911 for emergencies. Will you answer questions about my child?
I teach principles, not case-specific diagnoses.
You learn frameworks so your reasoning improves over time. For example, if you ask about fevers, I’ll explain how fevers work, what’s normal, and what’s concerning — but I won’t diagnose or give instructions for your specific child. That’s your pediatrician’s role. What ages is this for?
Most of the content focuses on infants through early childhood (roughly ages 0–8), since that’s when parents tend to have the most questions and sick-day stress.
That said, the frameworks I teach apply to older kids too. What if I can’t attend live Q&As?
That’s completely fine.
Community members have permanent access to all recordings. You can watch on your own schedule — whenever it fits into real life. How is this different from Googling or mom groups?
Google gives you a lot of information with very little context — which often leads to worst-case spirals.
Mom groups usually share personal experiences, which can be helpful, but aren’t always grounded in evidence.Inside the Confident Mom Community, I teach you how pediatric providers think — so you understand what matters, what doesn’t, and why. What is the community actually like?
This isn’t a chaotic mom group or a place for worst-case spirals.
The Confident Mom Community is a calm, moderated space where moms are learning how to think through symptoms together. Some moms ask questions. Some read and learn quietly. Some pop in when something comes up. There’s no pressure to post or share more than you’re comfortable with.Over time, many moms find that learning alongside the same people — seeing familiar names, sharing similar questions, and navigating the same stages — naturally creates connection. Some moms form real friendships here. Others simply appreciate knowing they’re not the only one asking these questions.
Both are completely okay.
The goal of the community is simple: clarity, perspective, and reassurance — not noise.Do I have to stay in the community long-term?
No. You’re free to stay as long as it’s helpful.
Some moms join for a few months to build confidence. Others stay longer because they value the ongoing education and community. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. What if my child is rarely sick?
That’s actually a great time to learn.
This community isn’t just about reacting to illness — it’s about building confidence before you need it, so when something does come up, you’re not starting from scratch. Is this only for working moms?
The community is designed with working moms in mind — busy schedules, limited time, and a lot of mental load.
That said, you don’t have to fit a specific definition of “working mom” to belong here. If you’re juggling multiple roles and want clear, flexible education that fits real life, you’ll feel right at home.

Why learn from a Pediatric PA?

A Physician Assistant (PA) is a master's-level, licensed medical professional trained to evaluate symptoms, make diagnoses, and treat patients as part of a healthcare team. While the title includes the word “assistant,” PAs are not medical assistants — we’re trained clinicians who care for patients directly. As a pediatric PA, my job has always been to slow things down, look at the whole picture, and decide what actually matters — not just react to one symptom.I’m also a mom of three. And I’ve learned firsthand that even with the same parent, the same home, and the same experience, kids can be completely different. What worked beautifully for one didn’t always work for another — and that’s normal. That perspective shapes how I teach inside this community.I’m not providing medical advice or treating individual children here. Instead, I’m teaching you the clinical thinking I’ve used for years — translated into plain language — so you can better understand what you’re seeing, adapt to your child, and feel more confident navigating decisions. There’s rarely one “right” answer.
Confidence comes from understanding how to think things through — not from doing things perfectly.
